Planned intinerary

• From Armenia to Vietnam, we will go through Karabakh (Azerbaijan), Iran, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

• The trip will take place from the 3rd March 2009 to the end of January 2010.

We try to use plane at minimum for ecological reasons, but it will always be overused. We go by plane when geopolitical conditions do not let us other reasonable choice (closed borders, dangerous areas…).

We will pay a “carbon offset” when we are back in proportion of our flights. What is it? It’s a financial contribution to projects which goal is to reduce greenhouse gases. It’s not an ideal solution, neither a “right to pollute”, it’s only a pragmatic device to compensate some CO2 emissions which are difficult to avoid. It does not exempt to use less polluting alternative solutions when reasonably possible.
